American Express Card: A great card to own

The features and benefits of the American Express Card are great. It's like American Express is trying harder because, while it is in the top 10 card issuers, it is not as widely accepted as Visa and Mastercard. And because of this reason, I would not suggest that you make the American Express Card your main credit card as it is probably only going to be accepted in half as many places. But as a secondary card, you bet!

One American Express Card is the American Express Blue. This card has some great features, and it really looks different. It has a big blue shining hologram in the middle on a metallic silver background. And it's got a smart chip embedded in the card.

One of the features is that the interest rate for the first 6 months is 0% and you are able to revolve a balance if you want to. But this is only on purchases, so you are not able to transfer a balance from another card and get the 0%.

The regular APR is as low as a 9.99% fixed rate, but of course if you start making late payments, the rate will go up. Another great feature of the American Express card is that there is no annual fee. It's got a nice best value guarantee. If you find the same item advertised for less within 60 days of purchase, Amex will refund the difference to you, up to $250.
