How important is a credit card interest rate?

You’ve got your new credit card – you’re excited. You can’t wait to start buying with it. You make your purchases with joy. But then the bill comes. Reality sets in. Is your credit card interest rate fixed? Do you have a 0 interest rate? Did you get a low introductory rate? Did you get the best plan available? These are all questions that sometimes go by the wayside when you’re looking for the lowest credit card interest rate.

You’ve probably learned by now that there are many different interest rates and services offered by credit card companies. They are all competing to try to convince you that their credit card interest rate is cheap. Do some research. Look for companies that offer high approval, the lowest interest rate, plus additional services. You don’t want to get caught with a credit card that had a low introductory rate, only to skyrocket after the initial period.

Your credit card interest rate is important. It can make your overall bill lower if you have the best rate. Find out the best rate for you, then enjoy buying!
